Nervous System Regulation Course

Do you ever experience anxiety, low feelings or an inability to steady yourself in our busy world?

I am so glad you’ve arrived here. This course will help you to understand exactly what is happening in your nervous system and how you can support and heal yourself.
 
We explore our nervous system through Yin & Restorative Yoga, which is tailored for all levels of yogis – from total beginners to experienced.
 
Yin & Restorative Yoga for Nervous System Regulation
 
Tuesday evenings
7pm – 8.30pm
16 August – 20 September inclusive.
 
6 week course at The Healing Tree, 2 Stuart Street Mosman Park.

It is well researched and documented that yoga is one of the most the most potent physical vehicles for accessing and working with our nervous system.
Through this transformational course we will explore  the key role our nervous system plays in our mental, emotional and physical health. 
 
  • Do you ever find yourself being triggered and overly reactive in certain relationships?
  • Do you experience restlessness or procrastination?
  • Are you generally feeling overwhelmed with life?
  • Or are you seeking a practice that will enable you to remain calm and present in your relationships?
 

In this course you will learn how to identify and work with the fluctuations in your nervous system that create the hyper and hypo arousal states, which are the root cause of many emotional, physical and mental triggers. 

You will also take away a raft of tools and techniques that support you to find steadiness in every moment. 

Take back agency in your life. Healing is not only possible, it’s your birthright. You can enjoy your life. We can’t make external challenges go away, but we can influence our nervous system to the point that those external challenges no longer have deep reverberating affects on our wellbeing.

About your teacher
 
Liz McComish is a highly experienced Yoga Teacher, Integrated Trauma Healing Practitioner and Somatic Therapist who has additional training in Counselling, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Fascia & Emotions, Somatic Interventions for Chronic Pain & Syndromes.
 
Liz was drawn to yoga while experiencing post natal depression with her first child. In yoga she found clarity, peace and a deep appreciation for how we can influence our lives through our relationship with our bodies. Liz is well known for her ability to translate complex nervous system science into a practical felt sense experience that is attainable by all.
