Unresolved emotional pain and distress leave an imprint in our physiology. This is trauma.
It affects the way in which we perceive and interact with our world: with ourselves, our friends and family, our environment, our workplace and everything with which we come into contact.
Dysregulation of the nervous system, which is the result of unprocessed trauma, contributes to myriad issues such as anxiety, depression, chronic inflammation, autoimmune diseases, insomnia, lack of motivation, social issues, PTSD, and more.
Trauma Informed Yoga is a specialist practice that supports optimum nervous system regulation.
